Online B2B Matchmaking in Kenya: How the Events by Cara Platform Connects Delegates

Our RSVP platform now runs online B2B matchmaking for events in Kenya. How delegate profiles, curated introductions and scheduled meetings work end to end.

Most business events in Kenya still leave networking to chance: a coffee break, a name badge and hope. The Events by Cara Platform now closes that gap with an online B2B matchmaking system built into the same RSVP, ticketing and check-in tools we already run for conferences, summits, workshops and every event we manage.

This article explains what the system does at a platform level. Format-specific guides follow for conferences, summits, workshops and expos.

One record from invitation to meeting

When a guest confirms their RSVP on events.cara.co.ke, the same record carries their organisation, sector, role and what they are looking for. There is no second sign-up, no separate networking app and no re-keying of data.

That single record then powers the badge, the QR check-in, the meeting diary and the post-event report, so organisers see registration and networking activity in one dashboard.

What a delegate actually does

A delegate completes a short business profile, selects the sectors and interests that describe what they offer and what they need, then browses a searchable directory of other attendees, exhibitors and sponsors.

They send a meeting request with a short note. The other party accepts, declines or proposes another slot. Confirmed meetings appear in a personal agenda alongside the conference programme.

What an organiser controls

Organisers decide when matchmaking opens, which ticket types can request meetings, how many requests each delegate may send, and whether the directory is fully open or moderated.

Meeting slots are configured against real capacity: how many tables exist, how long each session runs, and which breaks are protected for catering or plenary sessions.

Where it runs

The system is available on every event we manage, whether it is a two-hour workshop or a three-day regional summit, and works on mobile browsers without an app download, which matters for Kenyan and regional audiences.
